Stick Frame Construction, aka Conventional Stud Wall Construction, is a metal building style resembling a newly-built house. Metal roofs and wall panels are highly economical. If you're going to get your interior finished, Stick Frame makes the best choice.

We use standard 2" x 4"'s and 2" x 6" vertical studs (depending on the width) for the outer perimeter. We place the studs 16" on center.

This lets a customer place Sheetrock on the interior without any additional framing. This saves a step when planning on finishing out the interior.

A stick frame building is built on a conventional foundation just like a home would be constructed on. A vapor barrier is placed on structure prior to metal being attached, there are also different types of insulation that can be placed in this step also depending on the intended use of the structure. Stick framing allows for batt insulation in the walls which is far superior to any RVB insulation that’s standard metal building normally gets.
