Red Iron Metal Buildings

WE HAVE THE RED IRON METAL BUILDING FOR WHATEVER YOUR NEEDS MAY BE
What We Can Do for You
Red Iron is what people in the construction business call pre-engineered steel buildings. They are commercial buildings, generally 50’ to 120’ wide. They can be built and insulated to withstand any wind or snowstorm.
Red Iron is built in a “pinned design.” Concrete piers are sunk to anchor the building. The piers may stand alone or be coupled with a footer and/or concrete floor.
The buildings are expensive, but have high resale potential. They are well-insulated with 3” thick PSK faced fiberglass roll insulation. That translates to a pre-installed R-10. If the customer wants more, we also have 4” thick insulation (pre-installed R-13) and 6” thick (pre-installed R-19).
One advantage is the pricing.
Metal building foundation options:
Typical foundations for a red iron structure are a 24” wide perimeter footing with 3 rows of rebar, you will also have a pier incorporated in the footing at the location where the main frames will attach to the slab. The size and depth of the piers are determined by the width and height of the structure. We rely on an engineer to determine actual foundation designs for each and every project. We DONOT guess on the foundation requirements!
